Welcome to Central Unified School District's School Re-Opening Page. Central Unified School District is committed to the health and safety of our students, staff, and the greater community. The school district closely monitors the guidance from both our local public health department (FCDPH) as well as the CDC in order to make reopening decisions during this COVID-19 pandemic. While it is our desire for students to return to school, we are committed to doing this safely. We are opening in stages and dependent on health indicators monitored by the Fresno County Department of Health
Central Unified's annual food drive, Holiday Joy, is active now! Each school site has a designated area with decorated Holiday Joy collection receptacles for donation drop-offs. We welcome your family’s participation! Non-expired, non-perishable foods are needed for food boxes, including canned meats, fruit, vegetables, soups, beans, peanut butter, as well as dry items such as pasta, boxed cereal, rice, and baking items like flour and sugar. Unfortunately, we cannot accept jars of baby food, but rice cereal is allowed. Please drop off your donations during school hours. The Holiday Joy campaign will conclude on Wednesday, December 16, 2020. For information on monetary donations, go to www.centralunified.org/HolidayJoy/
